A level cap is the level of the opponent’s strongest Pokémon. In a Hardcore Nuzlocke, no Pokémon in your party may be above the cap when the battle starts.

The biggest jump in the main story is +9 levels, from Totem Mimikyu (Lv 35) to Nanu (Lv 44). Plan your training before it.
